Congratulations to our 2010 Golden Eagle Alumni Award Winner Mrs. Luann (D'Amico) Rossi, Class of 1972
We are thrilled to announce our 2010 Golden Eagle Alumni Award Winner. Mrs. Luann (D'Amico) Rossi '72 has been chosen as our recipient and honored guest during the 2010 commencement ceremony. Luann was chosen for her commitment to excellence in Catholic Education, her strong faith background and her unwavering support of John F. Kennedy Catholic Junior and Senior High School. She and her husband Dennis '72 are members of Blessed Sacrament Parish and have three sons, Craig '02 (Carla), Marc '06 and James '11. Mrs. Rossi began her teaching career at Catholic Elementary (now St. Mary and Joseph) in 1976 where she taught for four years. From there, she moved on to St. Mary's Middle School and later to John F. Kennedy Catholic Junior High School. She has been instrumental in the transition of the Junior High School and remains an outstanding team member and leader among her fellow faculty members. Luann holds a B.S. in Elementary Education from Youngstown State University and is now in her 21st year of teaching.
