John F. Kennedy is proud to offer the latest technological advancements to the students we serve. The following are technology improvements and highlights that our students will take advantage of this school year.
SMART Board Technology - Eleven classrooms are outfitted with SMART Board technology, including all Math and Science classrooms. SMART Boards combine the simplicity of a whiteboard and the power of a computer.
Netbook - All Junior and Senior High faculty were provided with Netbooks this year which allows for easier web access to update virtual gradebooks as well as provide additional resource assistance with classroom work.
Wireless - Our entire facility is now wireless; students and faculty can gain internet access from any location in the building.
Student Response Packages - These packages have been installed in both the Junior and Senior High School and are a learning technology designed to provide interactive communications between individual students in a class and the teacher.
Sympodium - Enables faculty to control any presentation and bring it to life by connecting an interactive pen display to a computer and projector.
