Welcome to the John F. Kennedy Catholic School Think Lab. This space was designed to provide areas for students to use the "Seven Survival Skills" defined by Tony Wagner, Expert in Residence at Harvard University's Innovation Lab:

- Critical Thinking and Problem Solving Skills
- Collaboration
- Agility & Adaptability
- Initiative & Entrepreneurship
- Effective Oral &Written Communication
- Accessing &Analyzing Information
- Curiosity & Imagination

The Think Lab is home to Kennedy's newest and most innovative course; Entrepreneurship. This is class is student-driven. It is an environment where students learn business skills such as accounting, marketing, profit-cost as well as soft skills such as interviewing a client, taking notes during face-to-face meetings and conference calls, and pitching ideas. Anchoring our projects around a 54” Latex Vinyl Printer, students are able to design, produce, and deliver on a variety of signage and products for the school and other clients. This authentic learning allows students to take risks in a safe to fail atmosphere.

Projects include customized graduate yard signs, concession stand menu, student-athlete fatheads, personalized static clings, and window skins for teacher classrooms. Students this year implemented a babysitting directory for Kennedy families, started a special events Valet business, designed and produced signage for numerous Kennedy events as well as local businesses they have partnered with.
