Office of the Principal

Alyse has been in the field of education for 14 years. After obtaining a bachelor's at Youngstown State University in Secondary Education, she began her teaching career at LaBrae Local Schools, teaching science in the junior high and serving as the Varsity Volleyball Coach. During that time she earned a master's in Educational Administration at the University of Scranton. In 2014, Consiglio was hired at the Trumbull County Educational Service Center as a Curriculum & Instruction Supervisor for Classroom Technology. There, she worked with administrators and teachers throughout Trumbull County and surrounding areas to integrate technology into the classroom, incorporate best educational practices, and continue to grow through professional development.  Consiglio says of her appointment, “I am thrilled to be the new principal at John F. Kennedy Catholic School, Upper Campus. I am passionate about education, and I know our parents are too. They have chosen Kennedy, and together we will continue the academic excellence, dedication to our Christian mission, and development of the whole student that has been the tradition for over 50 years.”

Consiglio hit the ground running spearheading Kennedy’s 1:1 Technology Initiative.  This spring, Kennedy was able to secure funds from families, alumni, and a lead gift of $15,000 from the Regina M. Rebhan Foundation to ensure one device (Chromebook) for each student in grades K-12. The initiative is directly tied to the school’s goal of all students having the technological skill to be successful at both college and career levels. Kennedy believes access to digital devices at school and at home allows learning to continue in this technology-rich and globally connected world. The 1:1 initiative is part of Kennedy’s educational philosophy to create leaders of the future through innovative teaching and learning opportunities. Kennedy is the only school in Trumbull County to provide 1:1 access to all students, grades K-12.  Mr. Joseph Kenneally, President of John F. Kennedy Catholic School says of this appointment, “I look forward to working with Alyse in our continuing mission to educate leaders of Integrity, Courage and Dedication.  She comes with a wealth of knowledge in Curriculum and Technology as a Supervisor for the Trumbull County Educational Service Center.  Her experience will make a significant impact on the experiences our students have.”

Alyse and her husband, Joe, a 1997 graduate of JFK, have two daughters, Gabrielle and Giovanna.
